Gary C.
Professor / Instructor
Gary is the head Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor here at Wolf Academy. Originally from England, Gary first started his Jiu Jitsu journey back in 2009 under his Professor Salvatore Pace of Gracie Barra Bath UK who also awarded him his black belt back in 2018. As a passionate teacher and long time student of the game, Gary is always seeking to help build and improve his students on and off the mats whilst helping them embrace the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle. All of his classes follow a structured training plan which can include a mixture of fundamental and advanced techniques. He teaches both Gi and NoGi classes.
Ahad A.
Accomplished in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai, Ahad is a competitor and coach at WOLF Academy. Ahad began training in martial arts during his late teens with a focus on striking, and continued his training in MMA at The Arena in San Diego. After joining WOLF in 2020, Ahad practiced Muay Thai under Kru Danny, and obtained his BJJ Blue Belt under Professor Gary in 2021. Since then, Ahad has been an active competitor on the local and provincial BJJ circuit, securing multiple wins.
Now teaching both Muay Thai and NoGi Fundamentals at WOLF, Ahad structures his classes with an integration of modern concepts and traditional fundamentals. He focuses on simplification of techniques so they are easily digestible for students of all levels. From coaching high school basketball to being an instructor at WOLF, Ahad’s passion for teaching and helping people grow is core to how he approaches martial arts and everyday life.

Gerardo
Gerardo began his Jiu Jitsu journey in 2016 under the guidance of Peninha Melo, a third-degree black belt at Alliance BJJ Montreal. By 2020, as a purple belt, he embarked on a nomadic training approach, honing his skills internationally. He has trained at a number of academies such as CheckMat (Peru), Lotus Club (Peru), Tribo Jiu Jitsu (Portugal), BCN Jiu Jitsu Team (Spain), and MEJJ (Montreal).
Gerardo’s primary focus is on the study and practice of Jiu Jitsu, particularly with the use of the gi. Currently a brown belt, he continues to travel between academies, pushing his limits and sharing his extensive knowledge with everyone.

Instructor
Samantha started training in martial arts at the age of eight, after years of training and receiving her first-degree black belt in Taekwondo, she developed an interest in boxing. After training in boxing for three years she continued wanting to learn new ways to defend herself. That is when she joined WOLF academy and started training in Muay Thai.
Training in martial arts became more than a hobby, it became a part of her life. She currently teaches a Women’s Boxing Class every week which works on basic stance, combinations and self-defense as well as drills to help improve overall fitness.
Sean C.
Instructor/Personal Trainer
Sean is a certified personal trainer and has been training Muay Thai at W.O.L.F. Academy since 2015. Looking for a dynamic way to improve his conditioning for basketball, he started Muay Thai. After a few classes, he was hooked.
Sean began instructing classes in 2016 and his personal philosophy of mastering the basics, ensures his classes adhere to the fundamentals of Muay Thai and conditioning. Always eager to help participants improve their skills, Sean can be seen before and after classes giving tips on how to improve technique to foster growth and help students reach their goals quickly.

Personal Trainer
With almost two decades of Muay Thai experience, Kru Mina has had the pleasure of teaching and training everyone from beginners to fighters. Her sessions include a combination of traditional Muay Thai and cardio/conditioning.
She began her journey out of a Muay Thai gym in Scarborough, eventually spending the rest of her Muay Thai career at Siam No.1 under the tutelage of Ajahn (Professor) Suchart Yodkerepauprai. She became the 2nd female under Ajahn Suchart to become Kru. She has trained with such notables as Ajahn Chai on many occasions and 5x Muay Thai World Champion Clifton Brown. She has trained in Thailand, fought and cornered fighters (including WOLF Academy fighters) throughout North America.

Lesley enjoys working with clients from all walks of life who all share the common goal of improving the health of their mind, body, and soul.
Lesley is a Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Nutritional Practitioner from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition of Toronto, holds a certificate in Personal Training from CanFitPro (Canadian Fitness Professionals) and has completed the Energy Medicine certificate course at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition of Toronto.
Lesley’s goal is to empower and educate her clients into improving their health with the use of nutrient dense foods, natural supplementation and lifestyle recommendations.
She offers a variety of services to help her client’s reach and maintain their optimal health and live their best life.
